Dr.M.K.D.Tissera, Who is post doctoral trainee in Dermatology, graduated from Faculty of Medicine University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and also holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) - Dermatology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo Sri Lanka.
Recently Board Certified as a Consultant Dermatologist.
Interested in Developing skills in surgical and cosmetic Dermatology and actively involving in dermatological research work.
Has more than twelve years service in pediatric and adult dermatology including procedural and teaching both undergraduate and Post graduate.
Has represented the country in dermatological conferences and congresses (most recent AAD 2012) and presented oral presentations and posters in many of them.
Recent interesting publications includes, effectiveness of Timalol local application to infantile Haemangioma in local setup, association between trichotillomania and psycho social factors.
